GROUP DOG WALKING
The Urban Pooch offers group dog walking daily Monday through Friday. Dogs must be social with other dogs, have the ability to walk at a moderate pace, and be comfortable riding in a car with other dogs. Dogs will be taken on ‘field trips’ and given a moderate to brisk paced walk with time to stop and sniff periodically and eliminate if they need to. The duration of the walk is usually 30 minutes, but can be up to an hour if you would like to book 2, 30 minute outings. Clients must commit to a minimum of twice per week to join our service.
Price per walk = $30.00 for 30 minutes for one family dog $45.00 for 1 hour for one family dog
INDIVIDUAL WALKS
If you have a family dog or two that prefers solo walks, we can arrange to walk your dog(s) by appointment for specific durations and timeframes. Price will depend on the duration of the walk. We usually recommend a minimum of 30 minutes up to 1 hour. Please contact us via email or phone for pricing. We have very limited availability for this service as our group walks are more popular.
PET SITTING
We offer pet sitting and vacation care at our location and only take in a few doggie guests at one time. New clients are required to do a complementary meet and greet with their dog present. Then a trial overnight prior to a client’s travel will be required. The cost for the trial overnight is $85.00. Dogs are required to have all standard vaccines including canine influenza, and be spayed or neutered. We are usually unable to accommodate puppies under 1 year, but will evaluate on a case by case basis. We are unable to accommodate dogs of any age that display intense “high energy.” Daily rates for stays at our location are as follows:
Dogs over 1 year = $70*
Daycare = $50 for up to 8 hours
Dogs under 1 year = $85 (pending evaluation)

DROP IN VISITS TO YOUR HOME
Daily pet care/drop in visits in your home with no overnight service is also available. This is generally a 30-minute visit to feed animals, take in mail, water plants, clean litter boxes and administer medication if necessary. If dogs are being left home alone, it will include a short dog walk.
